Maitri is the incarnation of young helping hands created to ease the challenged living of the feeble and vulnerable seniors. Maitri started its endeavour widely by exemplifying its commitment to serve. The aim is to serve elder needs in a grandiose manner, empowering them to live an active and a healthier life.
After 3 impeccable years of commendable work Transforming and healing 50,000 underprivileged seniors, The Frontenders Foundation is committed to care for 1,00,000 destitute seniors in 2020 through its 1st Annual fundraiser event, Maitri, missioned “To Care for those who once Cared”. All funds collected through the fundraiser will be extended towards the support of this cause Before, During and After the event.
We are privileged to launch Maitri ’19 with a Carnatic rendition of “The Journey of Life” by Padmashri awardee Sangitha Kalanidhi Smt. Aruna Sairam, along with her harmonic accompaniments.

The reigning queen of classical music is an esteemed composer, collaborator, humanitarian and speaker. She has taken Carnatic music beyond borders and has performed across countries - from small forums to really big ones like the Rashtrapathi Bhavan, Royal Albert Hall, Royal Festival Hall, Carnegie Hall to name a few.
Ms. Sairam has recently been awarded the Sangita Kalanidhi for the year 2018 by the Music Academy. Ms. Sairam has also been decorated with the Padma Shri, one of India’s prestigious civilian awards in the year 2009 for distinguished contributions to Indian culture and society. She is a recipient of the Sangeet Natak Akademi Award, The ‘Kalaimamani’ from the Tamil Nadu State Government and the ‘US Proclamation of Excellence’ to name a few of her accolades.
